- Always attach a professionally taken passport photo

- Fill in all information as accurately as possible

- Highlight any previous teaching or tutoring positions

- When on the phone, remember to speak as you would at a face to face interview and keep slang to a minimum

- Take your time and research the school, it will pay off once you're there

- Always speak to a current teacher at the school and find out why the last teacher left
