This is one of the most confusing aspects of the job as almost every different source will give you different information. LiveLearnTeach has always used the following guidelines and has never had an application for a visa turned down (all non personal documents can be found by clicking on the link above).

Documents to prepare to send to Korea:

Once you have all of these together, send them them by recorded delivery (we recommend DHL) to your school in Korea. They will then submit your documents t immigration. This usually takes seven to ten working days to process. We will then send you your visa issuance number.

Obtain your visa from the Korean embassy

Once you receive your visa issuance number we'd then recommend calling your local embassy to find out exactly what they require and the exact cos of the visa. Most applicants will visit the embassy but if you live far from an embassy, they may let you apply by post or undergo a telephone interview.

Documents needed to obtain the actual visa:

* A copy of all the documents you sent to Korea.
* A completed visa application form
* Two passport photos
* Visa application fee - currently £27.50
